Our efforts to help rescue African orphans and children in poverty around the world is part of a much bigger vision that we have for Ball for Lives:

We want everything we do to be a picture of the love that God has shown us in Jesus. Just as Christ died and rose from the dead to set us free from sin and give us eternal life, we also want to give our lives to help set others free from sin, oppression, and death.

As we labor to help save African orphans, we want the world to see God’s love for people, giving us opportunities to tell people about Jesus.

As children of God get involved in what we do, we want them to see an accurate picture of the Church, the Body of Christ: a group of people who have been given a relationship with God and with each other, and now want to offer this family to a lost and hurting world.

As we primarily use basketball to accomplish this, we want to inspire people around the globe to use their talents and abilities to save lives. God wants to use each of His children in amazing ways to offer His love to this world.

Our goal is to know God, and make Him known.
